Vietnam's online market for electronics and home appliances maintained strong growth in the first four months of 2026, generating an estimated VND10.3 trillion (about $395 million) in sales, according to data released by e-commerce analytics platform Metric.vn.
Nearly 31.7 million products were sold by almost 580,000 merchants across the country's four major e-commerce platforms—Shopee, TikTok Shop, Lazada and Tiki.
Shopee remained the market leader, posting revenue of approximately VND6.2 trillion and accounting for 60% of total industry sales. TikTok Shop emerged as the fastest-growing platform, with revenue reaching around VND3.8 trillion, representing a 37% market share, up sharply from 21% during the same period last year.
The average selling price of electronics and home appliance products rose to VND323,500, an increase of 7.8% year-on-year.
The figures underscore the continued expansion of Vietnam's e-commerce sector, with consumers increasingly turning to online platforms to purchase both everyday household items and higher-priced durable goods.
