Vietnam International Sourcing 2026 (VIS) is scheduled to take place from September 3 to 5, 2026, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City.
The annual event, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT), is expected to host hundreds of buyers, distribution groups, importers, and business associations from numerous countries and territories.
According to the MoIT's Foreign Market Development Department, the Americas will be one of the most significant international buying delegations in terms of scale. Participation in VIS 2026 will extend beyond retail giants and importers of food and consumer goods to include business associations, logistics firms, distributors, and manufacturing partners, creating a diverse connectivity ecosystem for Vietnamese enterprises.
Among the registered participants, many businesses and buyers from the United States continue to show strong interest in Vietnam’s manufacturing capabilities. Notably, Walmart will return to the program following its participation in several previous editions.
Alongside Walmart, numerous US importers and distributors—including L&V Food Supply, CT Choice, Viet Kitchen LLC, Camau Food Importer, and Viet Xinh US Furniture LLC—are expected to participate in matching activities at VIS 2026. These companies are targeting a wide range of product groups, such as processed foods, agricultural products, seafood, coffee, spices, beverages, wood products, furniture, household goods, and supporting industry products.
This provides a vital opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to not only showcase their products but also engage in direct discussions regarding technical standards, traceability, brand development, and the capacity to fulfill large-scale orders.
Beyond the US market, VIS 2026 will see the presence of various organizations and businesses from Latin America, such as the Brazil-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BVCCI) and Brazilian food companies, seeking to boost trade and investment cooperation with Vietnamese partners.
A notable highlight of this year's event is the active participation of logistics and supply chain service providers.
In addition to seeking high-quality supplies, international buyers are increasingly prioritizing criteria such as sustainable development, traceability, environmental standards, social responsibility, and supply chain management capabilities.
This aligns with the core mission of VIS 2026: to help Vietnamese enterprises not only promote their products but also demonstrate responsible manufacturing capabilities that meet the rising demands of international markets.
