11M insurance premium revenue estimated at $8 bln
Some 85 insurance companies, including 31 non-life insurance firms, are operating in Vietnam
Insurance premium revenue up against 2020
According to a report from the Ministry of Finance, the total premium revenue of insurance companies as of the end of August was estimated at VND133.04 trillion ($5.8 billion), up 16.96 per cent compared to the same period of 2020.
7M insurance premium revenue up sharply
According to data from the Ministry of Finance (MoF), total insurance premium revenue reached VND116.19 trillion ($5.06 billion) in the first seven months of 2021, an increase of 18.26 per cent year-on-year. As of the end of July, total assets in the insurance market were estimated at VND630.36 trillion ($27.52 billion), up 20.84 per cent year-on-year.
Insurance again posts impressive growth
According to a report from the Ministry of Finance, total insurance premium revenue stood at VND96.8 trillion ($4.2 billion) in the first half of 2021, an increase of 16.2 per cent year-on-year.
