The Medicines Patent Pool (MPP) has announced it has signed contracts with 27 medicine manufacturers in eleven countries, now including Vietnam, to produce the Molnupiravir Covid-19 treatment. The UK, the EU, the US, Japan, and many other countries have recently licensed the use of the medicine.

The Ministry of Health has allocated 300,000 doses of Molnupiravir to localities implementing the Program on the Controlled Use of Molnupiravir for mild cases of Covid-19 in the community.

Molnupiravir medicines provided by the DB Investment and Development Company - a founding shareholder of the Ecopark Group - have been handed over to 12 cities and provinces since October 7 to help them pilot the controlled treatment of F0 cases at home under a program from the Ministry of Health.
