Construction and real estate sectors record strong growth in new business registrations
The two sectors witness19,513 new businesses entering the market in the first nine months of 2026.
Nearly 224,000 enterprises enter, resume operations in first 9 months
Nearly 149,700 new enterprises were incorporated nationwide with total registered capital of nearly $73 billion in the January-September period. This reflected a 3.2% increase in the number of newly established businesses and a 32.7% jump in registered capital.
New business registered capital up 36.2 percent to $68.6 bln in Jan-Aug
Total registered capital surged 36.2 percent to nearly VND1.7 quadrillion ($65.4 billion) in the first eight months of 2026, with the average capital per newly established enterprise rising 26.4 percent to VND12.4 billion ($475,137).

Total registered capital reaching nearly VND538.6 trillion ($20.4 billion).
