The State visit to China by Party General Secretary and State President To Lam was a great success, positively contributing to strengthening the traditional friendship and accelerating the building of the Vietnam–China community with a shared future that carries strategic significance, thus promoting peace, stability, development, and prosperity in the region and the world.

The documents were signed in Beijing on April 15 in the presence of Party General Secretary and State President To Lam, and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping.

During their talks in Beijing on April 15, the two leaders affirmed that the two Parties and countries should further strengthen solidarity, enhance strategic trust, and promote policy connectivity, trade, infrastructure, and energy.

Delivering a policy speech at Tsinghua University in Beijing on April 14, Party General Secretary and State President To Lam underlined that this consistent approach stems from the fundamental and long-term interests of both countries and aligns with the aspirations of their peoples, while significantly contributing to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

Building on the foundation of friendship carefully nurtured by previous generations of leaders of the two countries, on the high-level common perceptions that have been established, on the determination of agencies, sectors and localities, and on the support of the people of both countries, Vietnam–China relations will certainly continue to develop in a stable, healthy and long-term sustainable manner, bringing more tangible benefits to the two Parties, States and peoples, and making increasingly positive contributions to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

General Secretary of the 13th Party Central Committee To Lam has been re-elected as the Party chief for the 2026 – 2031 term.

At the opening session of the event on April 16, the Party leader highlighted that Vietnam is accelerating strategic breakthroughs and making the best preparations for a development path that is rapid, green, inclusive, and sustainable.

In celebration of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – 2025), the Party leader has written an article titled “Rang ro Viet Nam” (Shining Vietnam), highlighting the great victories and achievements recorded by Vietnam under the Party’s leadership

The signing ceremony took place in the presence of  Party General Secretary and President To Lam.
