At the forum that took place on October 9 afternoon, Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung said that economic, trade and investment cooperation constitutes an important pillar of bilateral ties, which has achieved positive results. However, considerable room remains for further expansion to match the strong political ties and the potential of both countries.

At the talks, the two PMs agreed to strive to raise bilateral trade to $20 billion in the coming period, while encouraging businesses from both countries to strengthen investment cooperation, develop cross-border industrial and agricultural value chains, and expand processing industries.
