The move viewed as a necessary step to optimize land use, improve the investment environment and create opportunities for capable investors to develop new projects.
In order to improve the efficiency of State management and promote land resources, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MoNRE) has said that it is necessary to strengthen the formulation and implementation of master plans and land use plans towards ensuring stability and synchronicity and balancing “static” and “dynamic” planning. State budget revenue from land resources has increased significantly over recent years, contributing 12-15 per cent of the annual total.
